America thinks of itself as a champion of democracy. Yet, our national legislature rarely enacts policies favored by the vast majority of Americans.
Hardly a day goes by without a major media personality commenting on how a policy favored by most Americans should easily pass the Senate and how unfathomable it is that the Senate has not acted. On issue, after issue, after issue.
Why is this?
This site exists to explore this issue, and why the solution is ultimately to abolish the United States Senate. A herculean effort for the ages that could be mistaken for foolishness, but one that America ultimately must do for survival.
